So, the streaming media business, does it still exist? Or is it webcasting? New media? Or even Media technology ..?
10 years ago it was easier. 3 webcasting companies in the UK. The RealPlayer was the default choice but did you encode at 32 kbps or 48kbps … just in case someone had an ISDN connection?
Now the rating, sharing and embedding of http progressive downloaded H264 Flash videos; RSS; podcasts; Twitter; Facebook etc etc etc means that just keeping up consumes a significant part of the working week.
Rather than losing all those bits of paper, its now going on here. Its remotely possible that sometime I might stumble across something that interests you
